I’ve always enjoyed decorating any and all of my spaces with quotes. I especially love the variety of free printables you can find on Pinterest.
This is so cute and easy to do! I was originally on the look out for some cute and stylish fabrics to make some easy photo backdrops when I stumbled across this idea. I did try the fabric backdrops, but became impatient with how long it took to set up and get the wrinkles and folds smoothed out before I could take any pictures.
I only wanted a few cute little backdrops for when I photographed things like gift ideas, children’s books, recipes and so on.
Something To Wrap
I went to Sam’s and got some flat cardboard pieces (the kind they stick under each new stack of boxes on flats) for free. Then I cut them to the size I wanted, which ended up being about the size of a poster board. If you want to skip that part you can just grab a piece of foam board at the Dollar Tree.
Wrapping Paper, Scissors and Tape
In these pictures I used a flower print from Target for $4ish and a painted circle print from Dollar Tree for $1. If you can find patterns you like there, that’s your best bet.
Now all you do is wrap the front with the paper, tape the back and wallah! You’re finished.
Tips and Tidbits: When using your new backdrop, it’s good idea to get a piece of white foam board or poster board to lay on the floor, arrange your items and lean your new backdrop next to it against a chair or something. I always take pictures right under my largest window for some lovely natural light.
